Bulk bills all = practice bulk bills all standard GP consultations for Medicare card holders. Bulk bills: some doctors = most doctors at the practice bulk bill, but some charge a gap — check individual doctor profiles. Mixed billing = practice bulk bills some patients (usually under 16, concession/healthcare card holders, DVA, pensioners) but charges a gap for others.
Urgent Care (GP-led) = Woden Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, staffed by doctors. Treats urgent but non-life-threatening conditions. Open 7 days 10am–8pm. Walk-in Centre (nurse-led) = ACT Government centres in Belconnen, Dickson, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong and Weston Creek, staffed by nurses (not doctors). Free for minor injuries and illnesses. Open 7 days 7:30am–10pm. Generally do not treat infants under 1–2 years.
As of April 2026, 19 ACT practices are registered with the Bulk Billing Incentive Program, with 3 more opening by June 2026.
